International Centre for Women and Child (ICWC) is a non-profit organization that aims to provide the much needed impetus to the holistic development of women and children by supporting various programmes. Earlier called the “Sulabh International Institute for Rural Development and Training” (SIIRDT), and set up in 1994, it’s an NGO with focus and emphasis on education, health, skill transformation, sanitation, legal empowerment and community development.
ICWC is an organization mainly managed by women and works to promote education, encourage healthy lifestyle, stress civic involvement, preserve natural resources and work towards peace and understanding. Moreover, it strives to help deprived and marginalized women & children in need with full respect, love and commitment, with the aim to charity and also to empower them for better livelihood

What we do
ICWC provides model programmes and projects encompassing major issues in the area of training and capacity building, welfare and support services and awareness generation and sensitization.
The core area of concern are counseling childcare, women health, adolescent health, education, vocational training, gender equity, water, sanitation, career pathways, opportunities for better life for women and children.
ICWC's basic objective is to promote overall welfare of women and children and to strengthen their fruitful partnership in the process of nation building.
The constitution of India guarantees equality of opportunity and status to men and women. If directs that women shall not only have the equal rights and privileges with men but also the state shall make provisions both general and special for the welfare of women. Today there are lots of things that is happening in the name of women empowerment in India and lot of resources are spent in this direction. Keeping this in mind it is crucial to have a reality check on what is happening on paper and what is the actual ground situation.
organize an exposure visit to STP Badshah pur in Faridabad in which 70 students of Junior and High school participated along with Senior Secondary school Principal and Teachers. Through this the students were educated.
